The Academic Sports Association together with the Academic Sports Centre runs classes in several dozen sports sections. Students have the opportunity to train in over a dozen disciplines (including handball, sport climbing, badminton, basketball, athletics, futsal and football, volleyball, water sports - sailing, table tennis, floorball, music and movement classes, fitness, cycling, winter sports - skiing, snowboarding, ultimate frisbee, chess).
The best students from particular sections represent the university in national and international sports competitions, such as: Academic European Championships, European Student Games, Academic Championships of Poland and Academic Championships of Podkarpackie Province, which gives them an opportunity to apply for a scholarship for the best students. The Academic Sports Association organises sports and recreational events for the academic community, e.g: Academic League of Futsal, Mixed Volleyball and Basketball, the end of the academic sports year as well as tournaments and competitions of national and provincial rank.
