Stalowa Wola is a student-friendly city. In Stalowa Wola each student receives a monthly scholarship of PLN 300 during the first year of studies. From the second year, the scholarship is dependent on academic performance. In order to continue receiving them, a grade point average above 3.5 is sufficient.
After classes, students meet in the City Park, where there is an outdoor gym and a small café. Błonia Nadsańskie is also a popular meeting place. There are beach and grass pitches and a sandy beach. It is also a venue for large events and concerts.
